The Garganta de las Gloces ravine is located in the village of Fanlo, very close to the town of Broto and Torla (Ordesa), in the Sobrarbe region.

This is the most classic descent in the area and ideal to combine with the Sorrosal or Furco ravines and even combine it with climbing the Sorrosal Via Ferrata.

The Garganta de las Gloces ravine is a beautiful short and deep crevice excavated in limestone rock that runs through a watery, shady, narrow gorge with high walls and very complete with a multitude of jumps, slides, abseilings and a short rappel of no more than 15 metres of waterfall.

A first 3-metre slide will take us from a completely open area to another boxed-in area, we will find a 15-metre abseil that will lead us to a dark and narrow area in which we will pass through corridors and small abseilings.

We will be in front of the second obligatory abseil of the descent, of about 6 metres, which once descended will take us to a beautiful slide. After this slide, the gorge becomes a little more narrow and shallower and we reach the narrowest and shadiest part of the gorge.

To advance we will swim through corridors and make a few steps in opposition. A couple of more slides and we will reach the last 4m abseil of the Barranco de las Gloces. We will only have to swim a few metres and then we will be out of the boxed area and in less than 25 minutes we will be back in our vehicles.
