Adventure Sports: Canyoning
The Sorrosal ravine is one of the best known and most enjoyable ravines in the Bujaruelo area.
The Barranco del Sorrosal canyon is located in Broto, very close to the town of Torla (Ordesa), in the Sobrarbe region. It is one of the jewels of the Pyrenees and the most classic descent in the area, ideal for combining it with the Furco Ravine or the Barranco de las Gloces, or even combining it with climbing the Via Ferrata de Sorrosal.
Canyon excavated in flysh rock, with very aesthetic corners, big jumps and very nice abseils. An initial narrow corridor with 3 slides of 6 metres and jumps of up to 10m in height, where it always runs. It is advisable to have practised abseiling or canyoning before. Beautiful, aesthetic and comfortable. The Sorrosal canyon is a very comfortable half-day canyon, where we can observe beautiful formations and erosions of the rock strata.
Easy access to the entrance of the ravine and almost immediate return to the vehicles. It has many surprises in store for us in a short but intense stretch of river.
If you want to organise an activity with friends, with lots of adrenaline, fun and surprising, this is the ideal activity.
Don’t hesitate and come and discover the world of canyoning in the beautiful canyon of Sorrosal.
