Adventure Sports: Canyoning

Located near the town of Vega de Pas, the Ajan is a sport canyon, aquatic, of medium length and with a multitude of accessible difficulties such as jumps, slides and abseils. Simple and aesthetic, it is ideal for beginners in canyoning and can be combined with its neighbouring canyon Yera 2.

We start the activity with a first part with two optional rappels or jumps of 8 and 10 metres respectively to enter a closed or fattened area of the canyon with a small slide and a 5-metre abseil.

After a stretch with small slides and abseilings, we will cross a bridge to enter another fun area. A 6-metre jump takes us to a 10-metre abseil to a flooded pool and a 3-metre jump to another pool. A small jump of 2 metres takes us to a 7 metre shuttle slide. Finally, we enter a dark area called Pozo del Oso where we will abseil or jump from a height of 9 metres.

Once the difficulties are over, we will be back in our vehicles in less than 5 minutes.
