Descent of the Furco Canyon (Pyrenees)

The Furco canyon is one of the most classic canyon descents in the Pyrenees, short, intense and with spectacular scenery.

The Barranco del Furco ravine is located in Broto, very close to the town of Torla (Ordesa), in the Sobrarbe region.

An essential descent in the area and ideal to combine with the Barranco de Sorrosal or the Barranco de las Gloces, or even combine it with climbing the Via Ferrata de Sorrosal.

The Furco canyon is a very comfortable half-day canyon, where we can observe beautiful formations and folds in the rock strata. It is a canyon excavated in flysh rock, with very aesthetic corners, exuberant vegetation and beautiful abseils. Short, beautiful, easy and comfortable. Dark environment, where water is always flowing.

Easy access to the entrance of the canyon and immediate return to the vehicles. There are many surprises in store for us in a short but intense 1000 metre stretch of river, with abseils up to 25 metres high, slides and optional jumps of up to 8 metres.
