We often think that the province of Alava is not as green as its neighbours Guipúzcoa and Vizcaya, but this route will surprise you and show you the most natural side of the Gorbea Natural Park.

We will park the vehicles in the old quarries of Murua, where we will start our circular route, suitable for all types of participants, with a cumulative positive development of no more than 350 metres of vertical drop.

On this route we will have the opportunity to interpret the nature of the area, both flora and fauna, including the history of the caves located in the surroundings of Gorbea. We will get to know its beech forests, large oak trees and living rivers in an incomparable setting.

We will enjoy unique panoramic views on a relaxed route, enlivened with stories about the place and its way of life. In total, we will do a route of about 7.5 kilometres and 370 metres of elevation gain, something simple and not tiring, ideal to enjoy with the family and to make a first approach to the youngest members of the family.

We would like all participants to take into account a series of indications that they must comply with. It is compulsory to wear suitable clothing and footwear for the activity, as well as food and drink to replenish your strength at any time. It is also advisable to bring a change of clothes so that you will be comfortable once we return to the vehicles and the activity is over.
