Do you know where North is? Thanks to this activity you will learn how to find your bearings and not forget how to use a compass and interpret a cartographic map.

The environment of the Sierra de Entzia is a paradise for orienteering. There are no great slopes to overcome, with a multitude of totally different places, with a mixture of forest, rasos, karstic areas and many more.

The meeting point will be in the village of Opakua and once we have gathered we will drive up to the top of Opakua. Near the Legaire forest there will be a short course to learn how to use the map and compass and then there will be an orienteering test.

Who will be the most skilful person or team at finding the beacons and solving the mathematical puzzle? Time will also count, so the team with the most points will be the winner of the competition.

Speed, skill and strategy for an activity that lasts no more than 2 hours and where winning is the least of the prizes.
