An initiation cave in a privileged natural landscape.
The Marko cave is one of the “jewels” of the Urkiola Natural Park, an initiation outing to get you definitively hooked on the world of caving.
On this caving trip we will reach the mouth of a difficult to access cave hidden in the undergrowth that leads us to a world with a multitude of formations: lava flows, gours, stalactites, stalagmites, columns, dogtooths and above all a multitude of eccentric stalactites that adorn the walls of the various rooms of the cave.
An amazing cave, to be able to admire the upper room we will have to put our courage to the test and for this reason we will be equipped with a harness and helmet to be able to climb a 5 metre section. We will also go along a handrail to reach the deepest point of the cave.
Once we have left the cave and returned to our vehicles, we can make a small detour to see the cave engravings that are still preserved in the Ascondo Cave, an artistic ensemble that predates that of Santimamiñe.
Come and enjoy with Inguru Abentura the underground world in Marco’s cave.
Do you dare? The eccentric stalactites will surprise you.
