The ëcrins National Parc is in the South Alps in France, ice climbers heaven.
South of the French Alps Écrins National Park is one of nine national parks in France. National Park was declared in 1973 and is located between the cities of Gap, Grenoble and Briancon. Orographically it is delimited by the valleys of the Romanche, Guisane and Durance rivers.

Some emblematic mountains of the Massif des Écrins are: the Barre des Écrins (4.102m), the Pelvoux (3.946m), the Meije (3.984m), the Ailefroide (3.954m), the Coolidge (3.775m) or Aiguille du Goleon (3.427m).
As every year, from Inguru Abentura we have come to enjoy the unique conditions offered by the park to practice ice climbing.
