Ueli Steck, the “Swiss Machine,” has yet again broken the record for a solo speed ascent of the North Face of the Eiger.
The Swiss Ueli Steck broke last November 16 the record for climbing the North Heckmair path to the Eiger, with a time of 2:22:50. 5 days before he had already broken the record for climbing roped with Nicolas Hojac, with a time of 3:46.
